FUMC HAS TALENT!

If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Sharing our gifts
for the service of missions.

Sharing our talents
for a worthy cause.

Sharing our laughter
in joy and fellowship.

7th Annual FUMC Talent Show and Dinner Auction

This is the seventh year that the Serve Team of Seguin First United Methodist Church has hosted a Talent Show and Dinner Auction.  The proceeds of this event fund missions and there was a great turnout last night at the CLC (Christian Life Center) of FUMC.  Great food provided by women (and maybe some men!) of the church, donated auction items, beautifully decorated tables, and Talent Talent Talent!

It was a fun evening for a good cause.  This event was initiated seven years ago by Mary Ulmer (who has moved to Houston).  Linda Duncan was last evening’s Emcee and John Holt was the auctioneer.

A good time!  A good cause!
